Denton a village in South Norfolk, England

Tuesday Lunch Club

Now firmly established as part of the Denton social scene, the organisers of the Club provide a lunch-time meal for village residents, normally every Second Tuesday in the month. It is particularly aimed at, but not restricted to, those who are not able to attend the Last Friday evening meals.

Restrictions during the Covid Emergency meant that sessions had to be cancelled but it is now running again normally.

The Club was started when Doris Lambert retired and decided to continue to put her culinary talents to good use. A 2-course hot meal is provided by a team of volunteers for a very reasonable price and lots of tea and coffee. Gluten free, vegetarian and vegan diets are catered for.
And, of course, it provides another opportunity for people to meet. There is a raffle and plenty of chat.

Transport can be laid-on for those who need it and take-aways can be provided if anyone is too ill to come out.
Attendance has grown from 40 at first to a record 82! All welcome.

Start time 12.30, £5 per head, £2 for children.
