Welcome to the website for the village of Denton.
Need Help? Details of sources of support for those with financial or other problems are available in the Services Section.
We are located in the Waveney valley, on the north side of the river, between the towns of Bungay and Harleston, on the southern edge of the county of Norfolk, England.
Our objective is to provide an all-embracing and up-to-date source of information about the community of Denton in Norfolk for residents, visitors and anyone else who needs it. Please send your comments about the site and its contents together with any suggestions for improvement or new content by selecting “Contact us” from the navigation menu.
Each page has features to help you to navigate around the website, such as the menu on the left or the search option located at the top. Internal and external links are shown in blue. Return options are usually provided at the bottom of each page but the “Back” button can also be used to return to the “linked-from” position. External links usually appear in a separate window.
A comprehensive A–Z Index and a Site Map listing the full contents are also provided. They can be accessed from the top right-hand corner of each page.
The site is designed to meet normal web standards with the accessibility of the site considered at all stages.
Linked to the site is Denton’s web-based communication system Dentontalk24 which is open to all residents and anyone else with an interest in the village.
This website is managed by Matthew Squirrell and Richard Carden on behalf of Denton Parish Council.
