Draft Minutes of the Parish Council Meeting held on Tuesday 8th November 2022 at 7.30pm in Denton Village Hall.

NB These are Draft minutes and subject to change at the next meeting.

Present: Councillors: Cllr Hanner; Chairman, Cllr Bunn, Cllr Fearnley, Cllr Sida-Page, Cllr Kerr, Cllr Jones, Cllr Ashton Also present: Mrs J Loveday (Clerk)

Cllr Hanner; Chairman welcomed everyone to the meeting.

2. To receive and accept apologies from members unable to attend:
None.

3. To receive any declarations of interest in matters on the agenda:
None.

4. To approve and sign the minutes of the last meetings:
The minutes of the September 2022 meeting were approved and signed by Cllr Hanner; Chairman, as a correct record.

5. Open Forum for public participation (maximum 10 minutes):
an opportunity to hear from members of the public - None.

6. To receive reports from Council Councillor and District Councillors:
Barry Stone; County Councillor emailed Parish Council News update for November, 2022 which has been circulated to councillors.

7. To receive updates on items from the minutes of the last meeting not on the agenda:
None.

8. To receive Playingfield report:
Cllr Bunn did inspection. A working party was held on Saturday. The fort was repaired, hedges trimmed and hedge clippings cleared away.
Cllr Fearnley will ask Mr. Farrow to cut playing field once more this year.

9. To receive any updates on SAM 2 device, Community Speedwatch developments:
No further developments.

10. To discuss and comment on planning applications received and related matters:
Applications received:
2022/1735, Home Farm, Round House Hill, Denton. Proposal: change of use and extension of a farm building at Home Farm to a residential dwelling. All councillors were in support of this application.
Ref: 2022/1924 – Notification for prior approval for a proposed change of use and associated building works of an agricultural building to 2 dwelling houses.
Application Type: Prior Notification – Agricultural to Residential.

11. Finance: To approve payments to be made and record money received:
Payments:

  • Clerk salary for 2 months £254.00
Receipts:
  • South Norfolk District Council, 2nd Precept payment £2,100.00

12. Any Other Business:
Cllr Hanner will repair the notice board.
Road sign near the pocket park needs attention. We will speak to Highways about this.
Village Sign needs re painting. Cllr Hanner will ask the lady who has done this previously.
We are still trying to organise on line banking, the forms were signed again tonight and the clerk will return to Barclays Bank.

10th January 2023 at 7.30pm

14. Close of meeting:
Mr Hanner thanked everyone for attending and closed the meeting at 8.15 pm.
