Denton did it's bit in supporting the England's great Ladies Football Team in their campaign for the European Championships.
Defending the title they won in 2023, the team had a great record to live up to and they did this in style.
The Quarter-Final against Sweden, the Semi-Final against Italy and the Final against Spain were all screened at the Village Hall with suitable liquid refreshment and some excellent nibbles provided. More than 40 people turned up for the Final.
The match went to extra time and then penalties but the girls triumphed at last to everyone's relief and joy.
