Great Tilling

In spite of not very helpful weather this year's Dentill was a great success.
The new site, in the field behind the Church, proved very popular with a great background and, as the pictures below show, lovely views. The food tent and the bar were kept very busy.
Unfortunately, during the afternoon the rain arrived but this did not dampen spirits (or the cyder). Over a thousand people attended and more than £6,000 was raised for three good causes, the Nelson's Journey Charity, St Mary's Church and the Village Hall Extension Fund. Congratulations to everybody involved in this the fifth Dentill.
