Patrick "Patch" Howard 1979 - 2021.

The funeral of Patch Howard took place at Redenhall Church on 13th October, followed by internment in the churchyard with his mother and grandmother.Patrick was born on 11th July 1979, and was a Harleston boy, attended primary and secondary schools in Harleston. Living in School Lane with his dad Fred, brothers Paul and Marcus, and sister Sharon, following the sad death of his mother when he was just 4. He grew very close to his maternal grandmother know to all as ‘Nan’.
In 2008 he met Sarah. Sarah and Patrick joined forces firstly in Hingham, then Wymondham where their daughter, and the love of his life, Leah-Rose was born in 2017. Shortly after this Patch and Sarah moved to Denton.
Living in Denton was a joy to the whole family and Patch became part of the Friday Nights at the Village Hall. He took part enthusiastically in the pool tournaments (although he was not amused when Sarah beat him!). Patch also spent one New Year’s Eve teaching the children how to play pool. He would sip away at a Henry Weston and enjoy being part of a community.
In 2021 his health began to deteriorate, and Patch died on 7th September 2021 from a pulmonary embolism.
