Ploughing with a Difference
Plough Sunday at Vale Farm has become a regular event in the Denton calendar. But this year it was rather different.
The standard, DIY tractors, were available as usual for people to try their hand, but, for the first time, a pair of Suffolk Punch Shire Horses was brought in show how it all used to be done.
Incredible to think that, originally, horses like these had to do all the ploughing.
