Hall Centenary
There has been some debate about the exact year in which our Village Hall was first built - 1923 or 1924?
So, to avoid any arguments, it was agreed to celebrate its centenary this year.
On the day after the Village Fete, a great lunch was organised and served in the marquees, and, of course, the bar did a roaring trade.
Highlights included the cutting of a Celebration Cake by Hilda Thomas, eating it wasn't bad either, and an account, from Terry Hanner, of the many great events held at the Hall over the years, which brought back so many happy memories.
