Talk in Trouble
Sometimes we only realise how useful a facility really is when it suddenly becomes unavailable.
A classic example of this occurred in September when DentonTalk, the village email communication system, stopped working.
Somehow the Google-based system had been corrupted and no messages were processed. Rather that waiting for this to be resolved, it was decided to launch Dentontalk24 in its place.
Transferring the 250+ members of the system across to the new List proved quite tricky, but, eventually, this was completed and normal service was resumed.
