In Memory of George
Denton lost a really great member of the local community in 2017 with the sad loss of George Porter.
Beth Barrett entered this year's London Marathon to raise funds for cancer research in memory of George.
Beth completed the course and was awarded her medal.
Beth's original fundraising target was £2,000 but, thanks to the generous support of many people including a number from Denton, the result, including Giftaid, was over £4,000.
