Denton Bowls & Social Club
For many years, up until 2018, an active Carpet Bowls Club operated on a weekly basis from the Village Hall.
Teams competed in a local league and Village Championships were held on an annual basis.
Unfortunately, with the demise of some of the key participants, interest dropped off and play was suspended.
However, good news, play has now, 2025, re-started - the Club is meeting regularly on Monday evenings at 7 pm.
No previous experience needed. All welcome.

Also, the Club is the holder of the the Licence for the Village Hall Bar so, technically, it has always existed!
The Village Hall Mangement Committee has taken over responsibility for the licence,
