Road Access

The official designated road access to Denton in bad weather is from the A143 at Earsham via Hall Road and Denton Road to join Denton's Norwich Road down to Chapel Corner. This is the first (and probably only) route that will be gritted by County Highways in icy weather.

NB Currently, February 2010, this service has been suspended by the County Council and there are no gritted roads into the village.

Community Transport

The Borderhoppa bus, a minibus Dial-a-ride service, is operated in the Harleston area by the Diss and District Community Transport Association.

Car Scheme

A volunteer car scheme operates in the village to take patients to emergency appointments with their doctor or dentist in Bungay or Harleston or to collect prescriptions.
