The Produce Market
Every Friday evening the Denton Produce Market has become very popular. From 7:30pm to 9:00pm a wide selection of goods are available to buy. The BBQ will be lit for you to cook on and of course the bar is open for you to stop and have a drink after doing your shopping. All the produce sold is local and this is an opportunity for Denton to have its own shop to serve our local community.
The goods on offer include:
- Fresh Meat
- Home Grown Produce
- Bread
- Fairtrade Goods
- Plants
- Cakes
- Crafts
Not all of these are available every week but there is always a good selection and with more and more people turning up to sell their goods every week you can be sure of finding a wide variety.
Anyone is welcome to come along and set up a table to sell their produce. So if you make jams, chutneys or cakes, grow plants or make any crafts then please come along.
The Community Table
Do you have any spare produce? If so you can place it on the Community Table. All proceeds from sales from this table will go to charity.
