Village Fete – Saturday 10th July
Following a change of venue this will be held at Glebe Farm from 2.30 p.m.
Tombola, Cakestall, Bric-a-brac, Produce, Furry Pet Show, Games and much more. Cream Teas and Raffle. A fun packed afternoon in aid of the Church in Denton.
Scarecrow Competition. Who can build the best scarecrow in the village? To be judged at 10.00 am on the day of the fete. Prizes to 3rd place. There will be tractor & trailer rides to view them during the fete. Further details and entry forms from Sally – 788367 or Karen – 788420.
Annual Midsummer Ball – New Date – Saturday 24th July
Unfortunately Denton's social event of the year has had to be postponed but will now be held at the Village Hall on July 24th from 7.30 pm until late.
Dancing to the live music of Kaleidoscope. Tickets, £12.50, include a delicious supper.
