These events are not covered elsewhere on the website. Unless otherwise indicated the venue will be the Village Hall.
Plant Sale – Saturday 19th May.
In aid of Church funds.
Jubilee Ball – Saturday 2nd June, 7.30 for 8.00.
It has been decided to convert this year's Summer Ball into a Jubilee event as part of the celebrations for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee.
The band "What's Up" has been booked for the event which will include "a slap up meal and the opportunity to dance the night away".

Memorial Cricket Match – Sunday 24th June
A special cricket match, dedicated to the memory of Craig Whipps.
On the village playing field, starting at 2 p.m.
All those wishing to take part, all welcome – male or female, all ages and abilities – are asked to contact Steve Whiteman on 788251 beforehand and be there by 1.30. so that the teams can be organised.
Cream teas available, only a short walk away, as per below!
